Canadian bike manufacturer, Argon 18, has quietly been gaining fans and traction worldwide. Born out of the cycling hotbed of Quebec, Argon 18 has been focused on the last mile of speed for years — with a strong track record in the triathlon world.
Now, for 2015, Argon 18 will sponsor a UCI Pro Continental Team (Bora – Argon 18) and undoubtedly, many of the riders will be opting for the all-new Nitrogen aero road bike on long stages. The melding of aero and all-around road bike is not new, yet it continues to evolve. Every major manufacturer has one and now we can add the Argon 18 Nitrogen to the list.
The Aero 3D Headtube can be seen in detail in the following photo.
A handful of key features of the Nitrogen:
- Direct-mount TRP Mini V-brakes on seatstays and behind fork
- Aero 3D Headtube allows head tube length adjustments without compromising stiffness or aerodynamics
- Reversible aero carbon seatpost
- Aero-shielded bottle mount locations
- Internal cable routing
As details emerge, we’ll update this page. For now, kudos to Argon 18 on the new Nitrogen.
