Direct-to-consumer brand Fezzari Bicycles is at it again — this time, they are offering an excellent value on a full-carbon fatbike, just in time for the upcoming winter. Shown here in prototype form, the Kings Peak will start at $2399 complete with a rigid fork and have options north of that with the RockShox Bluto suspension fork.
The fatbike fad is here to stay and these bikes are a hoot when the local singletrack or fire roads become covered in snow. with clearance for up to 5″ tires, the Fat Kings Peak will excel in snowy terrain and the carbon frame will take the edge off and reduce weight as much as possible.
Further extending the versatility of the design, the Kings Peak features integrated pannier rack mounts, which would come in handy for longer winter treks or potentially for hauling backcountry skiing or hunting gear. The local folks at Surface Skis are dabbling in just that with their #Pedal2Pow adventures.
The SLX model (shown) has a $2399 pricetag, but is now selling for $2199.
