Quarq Elsa RS Power Meter Caters to Shimano Dura-Ace Riders

Quarq Elsa RS Power Meter - Shimano Dura-Ace Compatible

It’s not often that you see the folks at SRAM or Shimano crossing over with a peace offering, but that’s just what SRAM has done with their renowned Quarq power meters. Available now, the new Quarq Elsa RS is built to be compatible with Shimano Hollowglide chainrings.

It’s not only 4-arm Hollowglide-compatible, but the styling is also such that it makes the Elsa RS look like a stock crankset.

The Elsa RS, however, goes where Shimano cranks have yet to go — it’s built with Exogram Hollow Carbon cranks and, of course, arguably the premiere power meter available today, integrated into the chainring spider. With all Quarq power meters, you don’t need to install a magnet because it relies on an accelerometer to accurately measure your power output. The stock look won’t stand out like an odd duck on an otherwise Shimano-equipped bike.
